ALBERT MARQUE character doll made of bisque, France, around 1912, 56 cm, the formed bisque character head was cast in several moldings, closed pout, fix standing blue paperweight eyes, exceptional modelled, strongly modelled ears, pierced, with a purpose-built jointed body, with porcelain arms and fix wrists, fine modelled hands, the old wig was made of real hair, with an old French combination, old shoes, a brand for girls, body was at two places on the torso a bit repaired (in front and in the back), it seems probable that only 100 dolls were produced, till today of these were preserved only a small number, in this condition it is offered for the first time at an auction in Germany, one of the rarest dolls in the world
