koala, prototype, produced on February 28, 1932, item No.: 5517, big 22, standing, sitting: 19 cm, black small eyes, wool mohair plush, brown wool plush on the enlarged ears, prominent airbrush painting in face, looks slightly chubby-cheeked, three claws embroidering, distinct hands and feet, swivel head, arms and legs, the orange silk ribbon is caused of old age a little bit worn out, unused original condition, softly stuffed, this koala was produced  on February 28, 1932 as sample and already in same year registered at the disctrict court, in 2022 this object was  for the first time presented in the club magazine, only two items known, an absolutely rarity, hand sample from the Steiff archive produced without button, chest label and cloth tag label, with original Steiff archive tag
