rare French machine by Vichy, musketeer with special provenance bisque porcelain head with elegant slim male shape, with fixed inset brown  glass eyes, closed mouth with modelled moustache and pointed beard, fine slim nose, chestnut brown mohair wig, hull and legs are made of cardboard, hands are made of metal, holds a brass-plated gun  in the right hand, standing on a three-wheeled metal base, elaborate aristocratic silk costume in Musketeer style with metal buttons and gold colored applications, suitable hat and brown kid leather boots, that reach over the knee, with very entertaining four motions: metal base turns and slide on wheels, while the musketeer lifts the head and nods, lifts and lowers  the arm with the gun and and fires, condition: generally excellent, intact mechanism, marking: Vichy (Mechnismus), manufacturer : Gustave Vichy, c. 1870, size: 31 cm
